Pasay City's COVID-19 vaccination for kids aged 5-11 to start on Feb. 7
Pasay City Mayor Emi Cailxto-Rubiano announced that the COVID-19 vaccination for kids aged five to 11 with comorbidities will start on Feb. 7 at the out-patient department (OPD) of the Pasay City General Hospital (PCGH).
Rubiano said children who want to receive COVID-19 vaccine must send a message through text at 0956-273-4495 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for them to be included in the vaccination list.
She advised the parents or guardian of children with comorbidities to secure a medical certificate or clearance from attending physicians, health centers or at the PCGH, allowing the child to receive Pfizer vaccine.
After registering, the parents or guardians will receive a text message confirming the scheduled date of the child inoculation.
Rubiano said those who wish to secure clearance from the PCGH, parents or guardians were advised to call 09184873381 or 09366647848 from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon for a face-to-face schedule at 1:00 p.m. They must bring the birth certificate of the child who will receive the vaccine.
Parents or guardians, who will sign the consent form. must also bring a valid ID to show proof of filiation to the child and the medical certificate issued by the pediatrician, according to Rubiano.
