LOOK: Heart Evangelista and Christian Louboutin reunite in Paris

At an early age, actress and fashion influencer Heart Evangelista learned that among the best ways for a 5’2 Filipina to conquer the world is by wearing heels. As for her go-to pair, that would be the Christian Louboutin Lady Peep slingback pumps. What she loved about it, apart from being easy on the feet, is the shape that helps her legs look longer and its nude coloring, ultimately, making it a closet staple. And with her influence in fashion, it is no surprise for her to become friends with the French fashion designer.

Through a recent Instagram post, the Vogue 100 creative shares her reunion with the master behind the stilettos with the trademark red-lacquered soles during her stay in Paris, as Christian dropped by her place.

“Mon ami Christian Louboutin visiting me at my apartment with chocolates and coffee,” she said. “Lovely morning from Paris.”

In 2017, the two were spotted dancing when Christian visited the Philippines. Two years, Heart was among the guest of “Loubhoutan Expess” presentation in Paris, the designer’s 2020 spring-summer collection.

“It is just amazing to see really successful designers that are so humble, and he was just so gracious and nice,” Heart said in one of her vlogs. “We actually message each other until this day on Whatsapp. “He’d send me pictures of the kids and I’ll send him pictures of the food I eat in Sorsogon... we became very good friends.”
