
Jordan Heading and the Taichung Wagor Suns kept their hot streak going after winning two games over the weekend in Taiwan’s T1 League.
The Suns put an end to the four-game winning streak of Jason Brickman and the league-leading Kaohsiung Aquas after prevailing 104-89 before posting a 98-95 victory over the Tainan Ghosthawks.
Heading each scored 28 points in both games as Taichung improved to 7-5 for fourth spot after five consecutive triumphs.
He made 10-of-18 shots while adding three rebounds, four assists and one steal against Kaohsiung.
Against Tainan, Heading put up seven rebounds, two assists and two steals in 44 minutes.
Brickman and the Aquas failed to bounce back when they lost 100-94 to the Taiwan Beer Herobears. but maintained their hold on top spot with a 9-3 record.
Caelan Tiongson and the struggling Taoyuan Leopards didn’t play during the weekend but will return to action on Feb. 5 and 6 against Kaohsiung and Taichung.
Taoyuan is lagging in the cellar with just one win in 10 outings.
