V33nus, Tryke laud Blacklist newcomers Owl, Dominic for solid Sibol run
Blacklist International captain Jonmar “OhmyV33nus” Villaluna lauded newcomers Lee Howard “Owl” Gonzales and Dominic “Dominic” Soto following the squad’s solid run in the Sibol qualifiers where they earned the lone spot to the 31st Southeast Asian Games in Vietnam in May.

Blacklist didn’t look like it lost firepower despite missing the services of star sidelaners Kiel “Oheb” Soriano and Edward “EDWARD” Dapadap, cruising to a convincing 4-1 victory over Nexplay Evos in the Grand Finals of the Sibol National Team Selection.
While the veteran shotcaller admitted that the absence of Oheb and Edward was a big blow to the squad, the addition of Owl and Dominic came as a huge factor in Blacklist’s success in the Sibol qualifiers
“Syempre yung pagkawala ni edward at ni oheb (malaking challenge), sobrang laki talagang factor nun and kaya sobrang nag double effort kami para mapunan yung pagkawala ng dalawa. Nag success naman kaya shout out kay Owl and kay Dominic,” sadi V33nus in the post-game interview.
Owl and Dominic both turned heads in the qualifiers, at times, even taking the spotlight from their more seasoned teammates in OhmyV33nus, Salic “Hadji” Imam and Danerie “Wise” Del Rosario.
Blacklist and Tier One owner Tryke Gutierrez also took to Twitter to commend the contributions of the team’s new sidelaners who both willingly stepped up to the challenge of filling in the big shoes of Blacklist’s champion players.
“Love seeing how Dominic and Owl have accepted the challenge of replacing two of the best players in the game in Oheb and Edward during this Sibol Qualifs,” wrote the Tier One executive.
Dominic and Owl will fly with the M3 world championship trio of V33nus, Wise and Hadji to Vietnam in hopes to replicate the success of the 2019 Sibol team which won the gold medal in the MLBB event in the 30th edition of the biennial meet.
