Ping Lacson refuses to take jab at rivals during Boy Abunda interview

Partido Reporma standard bearer Sen. Panfilo "Ping" Lacson Sr. was calm and relaxed as entertainment host Boy Abunda asked him to criticize his rivals in the 2022 national elections.
During the "Political Fast Talk" segment, Boy asked Ping,"bakit hindi dapat iboto si..." as he mentioned his rivals namely VP Leni Robredo, former Senator Bongbong Marcos Jr., Senator Manny Pacquiao, and Manila Mayor Isko Moreno.
But for every political rival mentioned, Ping would simply smile and answer: "Kasi tumatakbo akong presidente, Boy."
Asked why people should choose him as the next president, Ping said: “I'm the most qualified, most competent, and the most experienced.”
One of Ping's rivals said: "Maraming salita pero kulang sa on-the-ground na gawa. (He talks so much and lacks work on the ground)."
Lacson tweeted: "Hindi ako kulang 'on the ground.' Hindi lang talaga ako ma-epal tuwing magbibigay ng tulong sa mga kalamidad man o sa mga indibidwal na tulong."
Earlier, Ping and his running mate Sen. Tito Sotto III said that they would rather focus on promoting their programs and advocacy than punch the other candidates.
Winston Garcia, brother of Cebu Gov. Gwen Garcia, has expressed support to the tandem of Lacson-Sotto who calls them "the most decent candidates."
