Man found shot dead in Antipolo

A man was found dead with two gunshot wounds in Barangay Bagong Nayon, Antipolo City on Saturday, Jan. 29.

The Rizal Provincial Police Office identified the victim as Mauro Rapsing Sedillo, unemployed, and a resident of Antipolo City.

A resident of the area found the lifeless body near the Mormon Church along the Marcos Highway in Barangay Bagong Nayon and immediately contacted the authorities.

According to the police report, scene of the crime operatives (SOCO) determined that the shooting took place at around 12:10 a.m. on Jan. 29 and that the victim was shot twice by an unidentified firearm, instantly killing him.

Investigation of the shooting incident is still on-going.
