Do you have what it takes to be the country's next representative to the Miss Universe Competition?

The search is for Miss Universe Philippines 2022!

The Miss Universe Philippines Organization announced its annual search on Facebook on Jan. 3.

Its latest post read:

"Another year, another set of queens! The most prestigious pageant in the country will start its screening in February 2022. Get your profiles and papers ready, aspiring queens!

"We’re brewing something phenomenal. Miss Universe Philippines 2022, this coming April. Stay tuned!"

Beatrice Luigi Gomez who represented the Philippines at the Miss Universe Competition last December in Israel finished in the top 5 of the prestigious pageant.

Since 2010, the Philippines consistently finished in the semifinals of Miss Universe. The country has already produced four Miss Universe titleholders - Gloria Diaz, Margie Moran, Pia Wurtzbach and Catriona Gray.

The grand coronation of the Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Competition will be held sometime in April.
