Kris Aquino confirms split with Mel Sarmiento

Kris Aquino and boyfriend Mel Sarmiento have separated.

She made the announcement on Instagram, Jan. 3.

Kris also revealed her health is deteriorating as she is set for more diagnostic tests and procedures abroad.

On Jan. 2, Kris deleted her social media posts with Mel.

The last post of Kris that talked about her boyfriend was on Christmas Day, which has also been deleted.

On Oct. 24, Kris announced her engagement with Mel. She said that she was looking forward to being a Sarmiento.

“To my best friend and the man I said yes to spending the rest of my life with, thank you for as bimb said loving me for me, with no agenda, and for being just an overall good and patient man. It’s unreal how much more calm & peaceful i feel now that you’re here,” Kris wrote then.

Kris also shared some details of her upcoming wedding to the former government official.
