Another church in Manila has temporarily closed.

The Sta. Maria Goretti Parish Church in Paco, Manila on Monday, Jan. 3 announced that it will temporarily be closed to the public as two of its staff tested positive for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
"The Sta. Maria Goretti Parish Church and Office will be totally closed to the public starting today, Jan. 3 until Jan.15, 2022 as two of its parish staff had tested positive for the COVID-19 virus," the parish announced on its Facebook page.
"For the duration of the closure, thorough disinfection and intensive sanitation will be undertaken," it further read.
The parish said online masses will continue to be streamed live at 7 a.m. from Monday to Saturday and at 9a.m. on Sunday.
It added that there will be no communion outside the mass.
The National Shrine of St. Jude Thaddeus in Manila is also temporarily closed after a priest and three of its personnel tested positive of COVID-19.
It has suspended public Masses for two weeks from Dec. 31 until Jan. 14.
