214 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Bulacan

The Provincial Health Office (PHO) reported that from 51 COVID-19 active cases last December 27, and 80 on December 29, the active cases in Bulacan on Sunday, Jan. 2, rose to 392.

The PHO said the total number of confirmed cases in the province is now at 92,323 with recoveries at 90,450.

There is no new reported death, thus the total number of COVID-19 fatalities in Bulacan remains at 1,481.

Gov. Daniel R. Fernando appealed to Bulakenyos to strictly follow the health protocols to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the province.

Fernando reminded his constituents to always wear face masks and to stay away from crowded places.

"Mag-ingat po tayo. Nagsulputan na naman ang iba't-ibang sakit dahil sa sobrang lamig ng temperatura na ating naranasan sa ngayon," (Let us take extra care. Several illnesses are on the rise due to the cold temperature we are experiencing)," Fernando said. (Freddie C. Velez)
