You can now listen to Anna Mae Yu Lamentillo's 'Night Owl'

‘Build, Build, Build’ in a podcast

After its successful launch in December 2021, Anna Mae Yu Lamentillo’s ‘Night Owl’ book goes to the digital world with the launch of its podcast now streaming on Spotify, Google Podcast, Castbox, Pocket Casts, RadioPublic, Stitcher, and Anchor.FM, as of writing.

In the podcast, the former chair of the “Build, Build, Build” committee under the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) shares stories about the program that ushered the Philippines’ Golden Age of Infrastructure.

“In a nutshell, ‘Night Owl,’ dedicated to the 6.5 million Filipino workers who have turned Build, Build, Build from vision to reality, is a close look at the 29,264 kilometers of roads, 5,950 bridges, 11,340 flood mitigation structures, 222 evacuation centers, 150,149 classrooms, 214 airport projects, and 451 seaport projects built over the past five years,” wrote Manila Bulletin Lifestyle editor AA Patawaran who also edited Lamentillo’s book.

Published by Manila Bulletin Publishing Corporation, the book also features forewords from President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, Executive Secretary Salvador C. Medialdea, and DPWH Secretary Mark A. Villar. Its podcast/audiobook will soon be available on Apple Podcast, Overcast, Breaker, Castbox, Pocket Casts, RadioPublic, and Stitcher.
