What you need to know about blk cosmetics's very first skincare line

It's been over four years since blk cosmetics launch their makeup line, and they're ready to go to the next level with their very first skincare collection that promises to brighten and soothe your skin. How? Through their hero ingredient—niacinamide.

So why the move to add a skincare line? blk cosmetics believes that one's makeup look can only be on point if great skin exists. As we all know, less is more. So the healthier your skin, the less makeup products you need such as concealers and other products that cover blemishes. Less layers are always the best option so that your skin can breathe better. And it helps if the skincare products can give you that natural glow, too!

And this is what the brand's skincare line is called—Brightening & Soothing Collection that targets dull skin, dark spots, and uneven skin tone. Vitamin B3, or what is also referred to as niacinamide, takes centerstage as it works on lightening both dark spots and acne marks, toning down inflammation and smoothens rough patches, and making sure your skin is moisturized. There's also the brand's signature White Bouquet Complex that's a combination of plant extracts to soothe, brighten, and hydrate. Double the power of these ingredients to make sure your skin gets what is needed.

This skincare collection has four products. Starting off with the Cleansing & Toning Makeup Removing Wipes + Niacinamide so you can wipe away all those impurities. These gentle wipes can also tone, prep, and refresh skin. Next up is the serum, and it comes in this beautiful clear bottle with a dropper for precise allocation per use. Then, we move on to the face masks that are submerged in the same serum. Lastly, the cream that comes in gel form that's lightweight but power packed with all the ingredients that will seal the deal on calming irritations and hydrating the skin.

This latest skincare collection can work for all skin types, even sensitive skin. No parabens, phthalates, SLS/SLEs, mineral oil, dyes, alcohol, and artificial silicone, and is also 100 percent vegan, cruelty-free, and ethically sourced.
