Dasmariñas, Cavite LGU offers cash reward for info on street light cable theft

DASMARIÑAS, Cavite – The city government here is offering a cash reward for anyone who can provide information about the suspect who stole the electric cables of center island street lights in Barangay Salitran IV.

The informant will receive P25,000, Dasmariñas Lone District Rep. Pidi Barzaga said in a Facebook post on Thursday (Jan. 27).

According to initial reports, the suspect used a pink tricycle as a getaway vehicle after taking the cables.

Barzaga reminded his constituents that whoever buys the stolen cables will also be charged for violating the Anti-Fencing Law.
