2 arrested, P200K marijuana seized in Bulacan buy-bust

Police seized some P200,000 worth of marijuana from two persons during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Mojon, Malolos, Bulacan on Friday, Jan. 28.

Col. Rommel J. Ochave, acting Bulacan police director, said operatives of the Special Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) apprehended alleged marijuana peddlers identified as Ajericho Pasahol Carmona alias "Kias", 23, driver, and Ericka Bangcoyo Castro alias "Eckang", 22, both residents of Felicisima Village, Brgy. Mojon, Malolos.

Confiscated from the duo were one black sling bag containing a kilo of dried marijuana in brick form worth around P200,000, a P500 bill used as marked money, a cell phone, and a black Yamaha MIO motorcycle without plate number.

Police said the suspect will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 (The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
