This online education platform offers comprehensive digital marketing course

Refocus is now available in the Philippines

Are you looking for ways to learn new skills in this digital era? 

Edtech company, Refocus, is now here in the Philippines and is currently offering digital courses on project management and digital marketing management. Each course includes over 150 hours of lectures good for six months of training and covers 19 assignments under the supervision of professional educators.

At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, where millions of people lost their jobs, Refocus launched free online courses in marketing and web design. 

“Since Refocus is engaged in education, we considered it our responsibility to help those in need acquire new knowledge and find employment in the future,” the company says in a press statement. “During the quarantine in 2020, we launched free educational courses in marketing and web design. We also support the Nochlezhka charity organization, providing the homeless the opportunity to master the professions in demand and get a new job.”

Apart from this, the company also empowers children from orphanages by providing them opportunities to learn and master skills needed in digital professions—giving them a shot at a better future. 

“The duration of the program is three months. During that period, teenagers receive the most practical skills. The lectures are based on real cases from the Refocus agency, and all tasks simulate real situations that arise in practice,” the company says. “Teachers check their homework personally and give everyone detailed feedback. The total cost of the courses we have given out for free exceeds $1M, and our big goal is to give an opportunity to all children from orphanages to get an up-to-date profession for free.” 

In 2022, Refocus is aiming to offer more than 50 courses across the APAC region with the hope to educate one million students in the next five years.
