Paranaque City to launch pediatric vaccination at SM Sucat on Feb. 4

Paranaque City Mayor Edwin Olivarez said the launching of “Bakuna Para Sa YO (younger ones)” for 5 to 11 years old will be held at SM Sucat on Feb. 4.

Olivarez said registered minors who have been given an inoculation schedule will be accommodated at the SM Sucat vaccination site.

He said simultaneous pediatric vaccination will also be held at the Ayala Malls and Ospital ng Paranaque 1 and 2 (OSPAR) on Feb. 7.

He said the vaccination schedule at the two malls will be from Monday to Friday while at OSPAR 1 will be every Monday, Thursday and Friday; and at OSPAR 2 will be every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

The mayor is encouraging all the parents with children aged 5 to 11 years old residing and studying in Paranaque to register them for COVID-19 vaccination.

He said the city government will also post the schedule on the following Facebook pages: mayoredwinolivarezofficial and pioparanaqueofficial.

The mayor told the parents to present their children’s birth certificate issued by the Philippine Statistic Authority and Local Civil Registrar, and their valid ID at the vaccination sites.

Olivarez said children can be accompanied by their parents inside the vaccination site while those being escorted by their guardians must show a consent form.

He said they can also download the sambple consent form from https://bakunaparasayofiles.
