Presidential aspirant Vice President Leni Robredo joined “The 2022 Presidential Interviews” with talk show host Boy Abunda which aired on Wednesday, Jan. 26.

Robredo, known as face of the opposition, was asked why Filipinos should not vote for her fellow candidates vying for the presidency in the upcoming May elections.
This is the fast talk segment of the presidential interview, where she had to comment about Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, former Senator Ferdinand Marcos Jr., Senators Manny Pacquiao and Panfilo Lacson within 60 seconds.
On Marcos
“No. 1, sinungaling (he is a liar); pangalawa (second), in the difficult moments hindi siya nagpapakita (he doesn’t show up).”
On Moreno
“Hindi klaro ‘yung paninindigan sa maraming bagay (His stance on many things is unclear).”
On Lacson
“Maraming salita pero kulang sa on-the-ground na gawa (Lots of talk but lacking in on-the-ground action).
On Pacquiao
“Malungkot ito, Boy, pero ‘yung kabutihan ng loob kasi sa atin, hindi sapat (This is sad, Boy, but good intentions are not enough).
Asked why Filipinos should vote for her instead, Robredo likened herself to many women leaders getting things done during times of crisis, especially the pandemic.
“And pinakita ko iyan sa maraming trabaho namin dito sa (And I’ve shown that in the many work we’ve done here at the) OVP , marami kaming mga krisis na nalagpasan (we passed a lot of crises) with flying colors,” she said.
