Sen. Bong Revilla Jr. to Kris Aquino: 'Our prayers are with you'

Sen. Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr. has called on the public to stop bashing Kris Aquino who is not feeling well as he prayed for her speedy recovery.

On Facebook, Bong wrote: "Get well soon Kris. Our prayers are with you."

Bong, who is set to return via the Kapuso action-packed series "Agimat Ng Aguila Season 2," also appealed to the public to stop spreading fake news, following rumors that Kris has passed away because of her deteriorating health condition.

Kris is still recovering from a rare autoimmune disease. She slammed trolls who were spreading fake news about her condition on social media.

"We should not allow negativity to dictate our actions. We must let our compassion and humanity prevail.

"Kaya naman nananawagan po ako sa lahat na ipagdasal po ang kalagayan ng aking kumare na si Kris Aquino, na nagdadaan ngayon sa matinding pagsubok sa kanyang kalusugan - huwag na bilang isang celebrity; o isang political figure; kundi bilang isang kapwa tao na nakikipaglaban sa karamdaman.
