High value target, 4 others nabbed in Olongapo drug bust

Anti-narcotics authorities arrested a high value drug suspect and four of his cohorts Monday, Jan. 24, in a buy bust operation in Olongapo City.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) identified the suspects as Arsenio Santos, 53; Ar Pallorina, 51; Albert Oca, 26; Ryan Ebba, 29, and Richard Agustin, 42; all of Sta. Rita, Olongapo.

Investigators disclosed that the raiding team confiscated from the suspects four small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing more or less 12 grams of suspected crystal meth or "shabu," assorted drug paraphernalia, one mobile phone, and the marked money used in the operation.

The seized drugs were valued at P86,400.

The suspects face charges for violation of Republic Act (RA) 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.’

The operation was carried out by the joint operatives of PDEA Region III and Philippine National Police (PNP) units.
