Parts of Metro Manila, Rizal to experience water service interruption

Some areas in Pasig City, Makati City, Marikina City, Quezon City, Taytay, Angono, and Binangonan in Rizal will experience water service interruption from Jan. 25 to 26, the Manila Water Company Inc. announced on Monday, Jan. 24.

According to the Manila Water advisory, the following areas will have water cut-off due to line maintenance and declogging activity:

• Parts of Barangays Kapitolyo, Bagong Ilog, Pineda, San Antonio, Oranbo, and Rosario in Pasig City

• Parts of Brgy. Pembo in Makati City

• Parts of Barangays Holy Spirit, Bagong Pag-asa in Quezon City

• Parts of Brgy. San Juan in Taytay, Rizal

• Parts of Brgy. Pag Asa in Binangonan, Rizal

• Parts of Brgy. San Roque in Angono, Rizal

• Parts of Brgy. West Rembo in Makati City

• Parts of Brgy. Nangka in Marikina City

Customers of the affected areas are advised to stock enough water supply during the maintenance period.

Residents are also urged to flush the water for a few minutes once water service is restored.
