But wait, there's more! 'Our Beloved Summer' to air bonus episode

Fans of Netflix’s hit Korean drama “Our Beloved Summer” starring “Parasite’s” Choi Woo Shik and “Itaewon Class’” Kim Dami are in for a treat because the success of the drama has spurred South Korean network SBS to produce an additional episode.

“Our Beloved Summer” which airs weekly on SBS in Korea and throughout the world through a deal with Netflix, is set to air its final episode on Jan. 25. However, according to an announcement by the network, a bonus episode will also be airing on Jan. 27 in gratitude for fans who have shown the drama love and support.

The special episode will reportedly feature a shortened version of the story, as well as interviews with the cast members.

Throughout its run, “Our Beloved Summer” has consistently maintained its spot in the Top 10 most watched content on Netflix Philippines. It is also among the most liked dramas on the platform.

The drama centers around the characters of Choi Ung (Choi Woo Shik) and Kook Yeon Su (Kim Dami), the lowest ranking and the top student of their class in high school. Ten years after shooting a documentary, the pair are asked to do a follow-up feature after their original series becomes a viral hit among young viewers.
