Advincula appoints Malicdem as Archdiocesan Spokesperson

Father Reginald Malicdem is the new spokesperson of the Archdiocese of Manila.

The Archdiocese of Manila Office of Communications posted the circular letter announcing the appointment of Malicdem as Archdiocesan Spokesperson on Monday, Jan. 24.

Malicdem is the rector of Manila Cathedral in Intramuros.

Aside from Malicdem, Manila Archbishop Jose Cardinal Advincula also appointed two priests as ministers of the Ministries on Public Affairs and Socio Political Advocacy (Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting).

They are Fr. Jerome Secillano (Ministry on Public Affairs), and Fr. Enrico Martin Adoviso (Ministry on Socio-Political Advocacy).

"As we congratulate and promise our support and prayers to the new appointees, we likewise thank Rev. Fr. Atilano G. Fajardo, CM and Rev. Msgr. Hernando M. Coronel for their generous and dedicated service as former Minister of Public Affairs and Minister of Socio-Political Advocacy (PPCRV) respectively," Fr. Isidro Marinay, chancellor, said in the circular letter dated Jan. 20.
