SSS members urged to use online services amid COVID surge

The Social Security System (SSS) urged its members, pensioners, and employers to use its online services amid the rising number of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases in the country.

SSS President and CEO Aurora C. Ignacio affirmed that using its online channels during transactions is the "simplest, safest, and most convenient option."

“Through our online channels, our stakeholders can avail of our services without the need to go out of their homes or offices, minimizing their risk of exposure to COVID-19,” Ignacio said.

Among SSS' online channels are the My.SSS Portal, SSS Mobile App, and uSSSap Tayo portal.

Members, pensioners, and employers may access their SSS contribution, loans, and status of benefit claims or reimbursement through the My.SSS Portal.

They may also submit Maternity Notifications, Maternity Benefit Applications and Adjustment of Maternity Benefits, Sickness Benefit Applications, Funeral Benefit Applications, Retirement Benefit Applications, Salary Loan Applications, Calamity Loan Applications, and Loan Pension Applications.

Meanwhile, through the SSS Mobile App, self-employed, voluntary, and Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) members may pay their contributions using their PayMaya or GCash accounts, credit/debit card, or Bank of the Philippine Islands account.

The uSSSaP Tayo Portal allows SSS stakeholders and the public to find relevant SSS information and to answer their questions.
