Rising star Belle Mariano is set to fulfill her dream of staging a concert as she headlines her first digital concert dubbed “Daylight” on Saturday, Jan. 29, via KTX.ph and TFC IPTV.

"Parang ngayon pa lang sa akin nag si-sink in may concert pala ako. Ten years ago, hindi ko ito nakikita na mangyayari. I was just dreaming. I was a little girl who's dreaming of this (concert) and finally, achieving and fulfilling her dreams. Grabe, iba talaga yung pakiramdam. I'm just so grateful na nabibigyan ako ng ganitong opportunities," sad Belle in her media conference for her debut concert recently.

In December, the teen sensation introduced her glowing sound and bright artistry in "daylight," her debut album released under ABS-CBN’s Star Pop label.

Picking up from the success of her well-received debut single “Sigurado” which now has more than 12 million Spotify streams and over 6.5 million music video views—“daylight” further establishes Belle as a pop-alternative sweetheart whose enchanting and silky voice shines with every song she sings.

Aside from “Sigurado,” the album consists of six other original songs radiating lustrous colors and offer an easy listening experience for music lovers. All produced by Star Pop head Rox Santos, some songs featured in “daylight” are also compositions of Belle’s fellow young artists from ABS-CBN.

These are “Rainy Days” (written by SAB), “For Your Eyes Only” (written by Trisha Denise), and “Rise” (written by Jayda). Other songs included on the album are “With You,” “Tanging Dahilan,” and “Nights of December.”

Since her breakthrough lead role in the coming-of-age romantic comedy series “He’s Into Her” this 2021, Belle has enjoyed steady success in her career. Last month, she starred in a new Star Cinema film with her onscreen partner Donny Pangilinan in “Love Is Color Blind.”

Belle narrated her talent in singing was discovered during a karaoke night out with friends, who then encouraged her to be a singer. "Feeling ko doon nila napansin na kumakanta talaga ako."

She also enjoyed the band rehearsals for her upcoming digital concert.

"Nagma-match talaga 'yung ideas namin kung ano ang gusto namin gawin. Unang rinig pa lang nila ng boses ko, alam na nila ang atake kung ano ang music ko," Belle said. "Sabi ko, hindi muna ako iinom ng malamig. Iwas muna ako sa mga sweets. Kahit rehearsals I still want to give my best."

Belle added: "With this concert, I just want to be light, intimate. I want everyone to connect so kahit virtually lang, gusto ko na ma-feel nila 'yung ambiance, na despite all these rains happening in our lives, we still have to see daylight."

As a "Kulit Bulilit" graduate, Belle admitted it wasn't easy being reintroduced as a teen star.

"The whole experience was a rollercoaster and there were ups and downs. For me, never ko pong hindi nakita ang light kasi if I don't seek for the light, it means hindi ako passionate sa ginagawa ko. So I always try to seek the light, even if it's a low moment in life," Belle said.

The Star Magic artist and RISE Artists Studio talent also revealed she wants to write songs and come up with another album.

"Gusto ko pong makapagsulat ng songs. The problem is, every time I write a song, kalahati lang ang natatapos ko. So sana makatapos ako ng song and who knows, magkaroon uli ako ng album," she added.

Directed by Alco Guerrero under the music direction of Iean Iñigo, the virtual offering promises to be a light and intimate affair for audiences worldwide.

Belle also teased the fresh arrangements of the songs that she will perform during the concert. “Meron akong different takes, hindi siya ‘yung usual na naririnig natin. Babaliin namin so I'm really excited and sana magustuhan ng mga manonood.”

Aside from her solo performances, viewers can look forward to Belle’s must-see collaborations with her guests—which include fellow ABS-CBN artists Trisha Denise, SAB, and Jayda, who all composed songs for her album.

Belle will also perform alongside Kyle Echarri, OPM band Ben&Ben, and her on-screen partner Donny Pangilinan, with whom she will reunite in the upcoming second season of “He’s Into Her.”

"I'm a fan of (Ben&Ben) music and their passion. Every time I hear their music, fangirl talaga ako sa kanila," she said.

Regular tickets for “Daylight: The Concert” priced at P195 which gives viewers access to the main concert link are still available, while the SVIP and VIP tickets priced at P795 and P495 respectively have already sold out in December.
