BaliPure signs spiker Jho Maraguinot

The BaliPure Water Defenders beefed up their roster with the addition of former Ateneo standout Jho Maraguinot for the upcoming Premier Volleyball League Open Conference.

The hard-hitting outside spiker is coming off a short stint with the Perlas Spikers, who took a leave of absence this season.

She will join mainstays Alina Bicar, Genevive Casugod, Bernadette Flora, Gyra Barroga, Carlota Hernandez and Satriani Espiritu.

Aside from Maraguinot, the team has also acquired Janine Marciano, Julia Ipac and Rap Aguilar from Cignal, Alyssa Eroa from PLDT, Marian Buitre from Chery Tiggo, Jamie Lavitoria from Choco Mucho and Patty Orendain.

BaliPure seeks to improve its eighth place finish in last year’s Open Conference held in Ilocos Norte.
