Social welfare office in Valenzuela City shuts down due to COVID-19 surge
The city government of Valenzuela announced on Friday, Jan. 21 that it will temporarily close the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) at 3S Center Karuhatan amid the surge in COVID-19 cases.
Residents who are in need of the services offered by the office may proceed to the CSWDO office at the City Hall.
Individuals who are in need of medical assistance may contact John Beltran at 8352-1000 local 1103.
Those in need of burial assistance may contact Jen Pactao at 8352-1000 local 1407.
The city government has yet to announce when the CSWDO will resume its operations.
As of Thursday (Jan.21), the city has 2,068 active COVID cases.
