PRC says CBLE for psychologists in NCR to proceed as scheduled

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Friday, Jan. 21, announced that the computer-based licensure examination (CBLE) scheduled for psychologists in Cebu next month shall be taken as pen-and-paper examination instead.

The Commission cited the devastating aftermath of Super Typhoon Odette in Cebu that resulted in loss of internet connectivity and provision of electricity as reason for this.

"Due to the devastating aftermath of Super Typhoon Odette in Cebu that resulted in loss of internet connectivity and provision of electricity, both of which are essential in the preparation and conduct of the CBLE, the scheduled Feb. 8 and 9, 2022 CBLE for Psychologists in Cebu shall be taken as pen-and-paper examination instead, while the CBLE for Psychologists in NCR shall proceed as planned and scheduled," said PRC.

The Commission said the venues for the CBLE in NCR shall be in PRC-Morayta and PRC-Philippine International Convention Center.

It said interested examinees in PRC Cebu may opt to avail of the CBLE in NCR, provided, that "they will inform both PRC-Cebu and PRC-NCR of their intent to do so until Jan. 31, 2022 for the final listing of the examinees."
