Gretchen Barretto reveals secret to being COVID-free: 'I drink gin or tequila'

Most of us would splash alcohol on our hands in an effort to diminish the possibility of viral infection.

Not Gretchen Barretto.

She imbibes it.

To be clear, she doesn't drink ethyl, denatured, isopropyl or rubbing alcohol.

Her choice?

Gin and tequila.

Yup. You read it right.

She shared in a recent social media post: "In spite of my allergy, I still take a shot or two of alcohol every 30 minutes."

She was quick to add, "Kidding. Every hour."

"So far, that’s it, that’s it, I survived it, I mean I haven’t gone through it."

No, she is not promoting alcohol consumption.

She said, "I’m not promoting alcohol, I am just saying drink moderately."

Apart from that, Gretchen said she also takes a teaspoon of honey in the morning and at night.

She also makes use of a bio-resonance therapy machine.

Gretchen related, "I don’t know if this is the miracle (the machine) but some people tell me ba't hindi daw ako nakakapitan ng virus... because I drink gin or tequila."
