Bongbong not joining GMA's presidential interviews

Presidential aspirant former senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. has decided not to join GMA News' the Jessica Soho Presidential Interviews, wherein aspiring leaders are expected to talk about their plans and platforms for the country.

This was confirmed by 24 Oras in its report. It said: "Inimbitahan namin ang limang nangungunang presidential aspirants base sa huling surveys...Hindi nagpaunlak ng panayam si Senator Bongbong Marcos We invited the five learing presidential aspirants, based on the latest surveys...Senator Bongbong Marcos did not want to join the interview)."

The interviews, which will be aired on the network on Saturday night, were only accepted by aspiring presidents Leni Robredo, Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso, Panfilo "Ping" Lacson and Manny Pacquiao.

Marcos is the leading candidate for the presidency, according to recent various surveys.

Manila Bulletin sought an official statement from the Marcos camp about his no-show. It has yet to respond.
