Suspected drug dealer killed in Bulacan buy-bust

A suspected drug peddler was killed in a police buy-bust operation in Bulacan on Wednesday, Jan. 19.

Col. Rommel J. Ochave, acting Bulacan police director, identified the slain suspect as Rolando Hallasgo alias "Tisoy".

Based on the police report, the suspect opened fire at the cops after a drug deal with a poseur-buyer in Sitio Panaklayan, Pabahay 2000, Brgy. Muzon, City of San Jose del Monte at about 10:55 p.m.

The police officers fired back, killing the suspect on site. His companion managed to escape.

Recovered from the slain suspect were seven sachets of shabu, two fired cartridge cases, a .380-caliber gun loaded with five bullets, the buy-bust money, a Rusi Flair motorcycle without plate number, and one cellular phone, police said. (Freddie C. Velez)
