Should we expect more than friendship from Julie Anne San Jose, Rayver Cruz?

Many are shipping Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver Cruz.

They insist the two are made for each other.

Does Julie agree?

Julie was coy when asked about it, even if she was only too quick to admit she enjoys Rayver's company.

She said, “Best friends talaga kami niyan ever since. We’re very good friends for a very long time na."

“Isa talaga siya sa mga taong nakakaintindi sa akin,” she added.

Friend zoned?

Not quite.

Julie is actually open to the idea of of them going beyond that.

Or so it seems.

She said: “Masaya maging masaya. Si Lord ang nakakaalam ng lahat. We’ll see.”

The degree of probability increased even further with Julie describing Rayver "a good person."

She went on, "Caring (and) thoughtful siya. He’s really someone that you can count on.”

It's obvious she likes him. A lot.

So what's stopping them?

Alas, Julie it seems is wary about simply getting into a relationship for the heck of it.

Seemingly alluding to past heartbreak, she shared, “You have to take care of yourself. It’s about nourishing yourself in all levels of your being. ’Pag meron ka non, nagre-reflect ’yon sa kung paano ka towards (your partner).”

Note that Rayver is also nursing a broken heart at the moment.

In a recent interview, he made clear he is not ready to jump into a new relationship yet.

"Hinay hinay lang muna," he quipped.
