Choco Mucho signs Des Cheng

The Choco Mucho lineup in the upcoming Premier Volleyball League season just got deeper after the team acquired open hitter Des Cheng.

The team revealed this development on social media Thursday night, welcoming the former De La Salle standout.

“Adding Des to the roster will give the team much more depth, making the Flying Titans unstoppable!” the post read.

Cheng, 25, boasts of a Finals Most Valuable Player and Best Server in the UAAP and has played for the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers since 2016.

She joins early additions Thang Ponce, former De La Salle teammate Aduke Ogunsanya, Jem Ferrer and Cherry Nunag as they team up with mainstays Deanna Wong, Bea De Leon and Kat Tolentino.

The Flying Titans finished fourth in last year’s Open Conference held in a bubble-type setup in Ilocos Norte after losing to the Petro Gazz Angles in the battle for third place.
