Presidential aspirant Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. on Sunday, Jan. 2, assured the victims of Typhoon "Odette" that he will help them rebuild their damaged communities.
In a statement, Marcos vowed to assist in reconstructing the victims' communities as he expressed his sympathy with them.
Huwag kayong mawalan ng pag-asa at huwag panghinaan ng loob dahil maraming tao ang laging handang tumulong sa inyo (I promise you that we will be having reconstruction. We will give all help. Don't lose help because many people are willing to help)," he said.
We already brought relief goods to different places. But in Palawan, the needs of the people there are already different. They are now asking for construction materials to rebuild their homes and that's what we're trying to give now)," he added.
Although the arrival of a ship carrying relief goods for "Odette" victims in Palawan was delayed due to inclement weather, Marcos Jr. said it did not hinder his commitment to bring in necessary materials in the province.
