EXO Chen's wife gives birth to their second baby

Chen, member of K-pop boy band EXO member Chen and who is currently fulfilling his military service, is now a father of two kids.

“It is true that Chen's wife gave birth to their second child,” said SM Entertainment, EXO’s agency, on Jan. 19.

In November last year, SM Entertainment announced that Chen’s wife was pregnant with their second baby.

The second baby came in nearly 1 year and nine months since Chen’s wife gave birth to their first baby on April 29, 2020.

"Chen's wife is pregnant with their second child," said SM Entertainment, EXO’s agency, on Nov. 16.

In January 2020, Chen revealed that he was getting married and that his girlfriend was pregnant. She gave birth three months later.

"I have a girlfriend, who I want to share the rest of my life with. While I was discussing with other EXO members and company officials about delivering the news (on my girlfriend,) a blessing came to us,” said Chen.

He added, "I didn't want to take more time, so decided to take the courage. I am thankful to my members for their good wishes, and I want to thank my fans for their love. I will keep striving to reciprocate the love,” according to the Korea Times.

After his wife gave birth to their first baby, Chen enlisted in the Korean military on Oct. 26, 2020 and is expected to be discharged in April 2022.
