ALEX GONZAGA ON YOUTUBE: Gloria Diaz recalls mom's reaction when she won Miss Universe

Actress-social media influencer Alex Gonzaga had a wonderful time when she toured the house of 1969 Miss Universe Gloria Diaz for her vlog.

Prior, sisters Isabelle and Ava Diaz met Alex at a restaurant. Then they proceeded to the house of the country's first Miss Universe.

Alex asked Gloria: "Anong sabi ng nanay ninyo nung nanalo kayo ng Miss Universe?"

"Wala lang. Close the phone. Mahal ang long distance," Gloria said. "During that time mahal ang long distance, eh." She was crowned in Miami Beach, Florida.

Gloria added: "Noong nanalo ako ng Miss Philippines. Umuwi ako at sabi ko guess what I won? Ah, good! good! Go to sleep na! I have to play golf tomorrow, so early. She plays golf at 5 a.m."

In the vlog, Isabelle also showed her bedroom when she was still single. "This is my room, high school, and college. A lot of my friends live here with me. Si Liz (Uy), si Anne (Curtis)."

Isabelle also admitted that her husband Adrian Semblat had been to her room when they were not yet married. Isabelle and Adrien got married in Tuscany, Italy, on Sept. 10, 2016.

Gloria told Alex she was sad because Isabelle and her son were leaving in one day. She also showed in the house tour some family pictures, trophies, her newly renovated kitchen, and her favorite plants.
