Seven barangays in Paranaque City will experience water service interruption from Jan. 20 to Feb. 15, the local government announced Wednesday, Jan. 19.
Maynilad advised the city government that Barangays Don Bosco, Marcelo Green, Mwerville, Moonwalk, San Antonio and San Isidro will experience water service interruption from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. while Barangay BF from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Maynilad told the Paranaque Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRMO) that due to increased turbidity in raw water from Laguna, they are constrained to reduce water production in their treatment plant.
As a result, affected barangays will experience low to no water supply on the said dates.
The residents were advised to start saving water for their daily consumption.
