3 women yield over P1.1-M shabu in Navotas buy-bust

Police seized P1,101,600 worth of shabu from three women in a buy-bust operation on Leaño Street in Barangay Bangkulasi, Navotas City around 3:50 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 18.

The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) and Northern Police District (NPD) identified the suspects as Kyla Marie Legaspi, 22; Kristal Shaine Legaspi, 19; and Marizza Adalla, 29, all residents of Navotas City.

Operatives of the Navotas Drug Enforcement Unit recovered from the suspects a plastic bag with 10 sachets of white crystalline substance weighing around 162 grams, a body black bag, two coin purses, a weighing scale, a small notebook, a cellular phone, and the buy-bust.

The confiscated drugs were taken to the forensic laboratory office for confirmatory testing.

Meanwhile, the suspects were detained for violation of the Republic Act 9165 or the Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (Cherrylin Caacbay)
