How Rabiya Mateo handled a disparaging remark

Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo lectured a netizen who tried to mock her via a degrading comment.

Note that on Instagram, the newly-signed Kapuso artist proudly shared about her latest milestone.

"Minsan action star, minsan panadero," she wrote. "Was privileged enough to see how to make the ever famous Raisin Bread ng Baguio Country Club. Even made a joke kay chef na patayo ako ng sarili kong bakeshop, kunin ko siya."

Apparently, an online user didn't like the post, commenting: “Minsan Beauty Queen, Minsan drama queen. Pero kadalasan ambisyosa di naman marunong umarte, talunan pa sa MU (Miss Universe). (crying emoji).”

But Rabiya handled it with grace, replying: “di naman siguro masama mangarap, yung masama mangbaba ng kapwa."

“Medical professional ka diba? Sana maging doctor ka gaya ng pangarap mo. Keep winning in life,” she added.

As of writing, the viral remark is already deleted.

Meanwhile, many of Rabiya's fans expressed support to the latter.

One even said: "Go for Ur dreams Rabiya. It was GOD who placed those dreams in Ur Heart hija. GOD, our GOD the Father will see U through."
