Leyte bettor wins P142.6-M Super Lotto 6/49 jackpot

A solo bettor from Leyte bagged the 142.6-million jackpot prize for Super Lotto 6/49, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) on Monday, Jan. 17, announced.

On its Facebook page, PCSO posted an advisory congratulating the bearer of the winning ticket bought in Abuyog, Leyte.

PCSO said that the lone bettor won a total jackpot prize of P142, 679, 606. 40 after correctly guessing the winning combination 02 - 05 - 04 - 31 - 01- 46 for Super Lotto 6/49 during the draw on Jan. 16.

For prizes above P10,000, PCSO said that these are subjected to 20 percent tax under the TRAIN Law.

Meanwhile, PCSO reminded the public that unclaimed prizes within one year from the draw date shall be considered “forfeited” based on Republic Act No. 1169.

To claim the prize, PCSO said that the winner needed to go to the main office in Mandaluyong City.

The winner must also bring the winning ticket with two valid identification cards to claim the prize.

Based on the summary of winners, 14 bettors correctly guessed five out of the six-digit winning combinations for the Super Lotto 6/49. They will receive P50,000 each as second prize winners.

PCSO said that there was no winner for the Ultra Lotto 6/58 with a jackpot prize of P49,500,000. The winning combination was 13 - 34 - 17- 41 - 58 - 53. However, there was a bettor who won the second prize and will receive P120, 000.

The Ultra Lotto 6/58 draws are on Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday.

For Super Lotto 4/49, the draws are every Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

During the draw on Jan. 15, a bettor from Tabaco City, Albay also won the P65.9-million jackpot prize for Grand Lotto 6/55 with the winning combination 39-29-09-21-19-20.
