After recovering from COVID-19, Pia Wurtzbach reunites with BF

Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach and boyfriend Jeremy Jauncey have reunited.

The excited boyfriend shared the news on Instagram.

He wrote: "REUNITED! (smiling face with smiling eyes emoji). It took a little longer than we hoped but we’re back home in Edinburgh and catching up on lost time (smiley face) @piawurtzbach."

Recall that the couple was supposed to celebrate their second anniversary as sweethearts on New Year’s Eve but wasn't able to do so.

Then a few days later, Pia revealed that she caught COVID-19 in the UK even though she has been fully vaccinated and received her booster shot already.

That time, the model shared getting all the symptoms from fever, sore throat, body pain, runny rose, cough. She also lost her sense of smell and taste.

And it lasted more than a week.

Meanwhile, netizens blamed Pia for contracting the deadly virus.

But she quickly reacted to the said the online user who claimed she deserved to have COVID-19.

Pia said she already deleted the comment in her post, but she couldn’t believe some people were happy that others were tested positive for the virus.

"I deleted it already pero may nag comment pa na I deserved this cos I travel? And that I had it coming? Kilabutan sana kayo sa mga sinasabi nyo. Iba na talaga mundo ngayon. Sana di nyo maranasan to."
