Lisa, Winter, Jennie, Karina, Taeyeon top girl group brand reputation ranking

BLACKPINK’s Lisa, Aespa’s Winter, BLACKPINK’s Jennie, Aespa’s Karina and Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon grabbed the first five places in the brand reputation index for individual K-pop girl group members for January 2022.

The Korea Corporate Research Institute analyzed 97.73 million pieces of brand big data covering 579 members of K-pop girl groups from Dec. 16 to Jan. 16, an increase of 76.58 percent from 55.34 million in December.

Their brand reputation index was based on consumer participation, media exposure, communication and community indices and it aims to find out that consumers’ online habits have a great influence on brand consumption.

BLACKPINK’s Lisa rose from third in December to first place in January with a brand reputation index score of 3.82 million, an increase of 91.17 percent from 2 million last month.

Aespa’s Winter maintained her second place position, garnering a score of 3.49 million, up by 52.43 percent from 2.29 million in December.

BLACKPINK’s Jennie grabbed third place with a score of 3.39 million, an increase of 28.55 percent from her first-place score of 2.64 million in December.

Aespa’s Karina is in fourth with a score of 3.27 million, up by 77.97 percent from her fourth-place score of 1.83 million in December.

Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon placed fifth with a score of 3.09 million, up by 97.62 percent from her sixth-place score of 1.56 million in December.
