Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) officially launches the Montero Sport Black Series. The Black Series edition was introduced in the Xpander in November 2021, soon followed by the Strada Athlete.
Now Mitsubishi hopes to elevate its seven-seater SUV with luxurious design and premium features. The Black Series edition adds new, dark accents to its exterior facade.

The changes start in front, most evidently with the blacked out grille, headlamp extensions and bumper garnish. On top is a black roof rail and spoiler. The white diamond color option comes with a black roof, giving it a distinct two-tone design. Complete the look are a black rear bumper garnish and 18-inch alloy wheels.

“Black symbolizes power, elegance and sophistication. With the addition of the Montero Sport in our Black Series collection, we wish to appeal to a market that intends to project the same characteristics at the same time give them an SUV that is built to handle anything,” said Takeshi Hara, President and CEO of MMPC.

The Montero Sport Black Series comes in two colors, White Diamond and Jet Black Mica. It also comes with the most sought-after features that have made its one of the best-selling SUVs in the country: a 2.4-liter turbo diesel engine that produces impressive power, torque and fuel efficiency; a spacious interior with flexible second and third row seats; active and passive safety features; ultrasonic Misacceleration Mitigation System (UMS); forward Collision Mitigation System (FCM); Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC); Active Stability and Traction Control (ASTC); abundant comfort features and premium interior materials; and an HVAC system equipped with ‘nanoe’ air-purifying system.
The Montero Sport Black Series is priced at P1,981,000 with an additional P15,000 for the White Diamond variant. To know more about the Montero Sport Black Series, visit the Mitsubishi website or schedule an appointment with your preferred dealer.
