Biñan LGU offers free teleconsult, home antigen tests

BIÑAN CITY, Laguna – The city government here launched on Thursday (Jan. 13) its Biñan E-Konsulta telemedicine services.

The program aims to provide free medical consultation to residents experiencing coughs, colds, fever, and other symptoms related to coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

Residents are given a hotline that they can call to connect with the doctors of the City Health Office for proper medical guidance.

The local government unit (LGU) has also rolled out its free home service antigen testing for residents experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or those who are close contacts of confirmed cases.

Applicants will need to fill out an online form to schedule an antigen test.

As of Jan. 12, the city has 468 active COVID-19 cases, just two weeks after recording zero active cases for the first time in 21 months.
