Preggy Iya Villania tells moms after she was tested positive for COVID-19: 'Try not to cry'

After announcing that she and her husband Drew Arellano were expecting their fourth baby a few days ago, TV host Iya Villania revealed she and her husband were tested positive for COVID-19.

In her post, Iya shared a glimpse of the situation in their home by sharing some photos. Drew also confirmed he was tested positive for the virus.

One of the pictures showed their three kids - Primo (5 years old), Leon (3 years old), and Alana (5 months old) - behind a glass door.

Their unica hija was seemingly crying out loud.

Meanwhile, Iya noted she and Drew are still hanging onto that little chance that maybe the kids are spared from the deadly virus.

"This post is for all mamas and papas that are going thru the same thing and have to endure not hugging and kissing their children," she said, admitting that being away from their kids was the "hardest" thing to accept upon learning she was positive.

"Primo gets it, Leon is okay too because he follows his kuya’s lead, but Alana?? Boy, it broke my heart to see her cry for me and not being able to console her even for a bit," the heartbroken mother said.

"So mamas in this same situation, you are not alone! My tip? Try not to cry!!!! coz the tears will only cause nasal congestion and lengthen recovery!," she added in jest. "I know, I know... ang hirap! Man, I CRIED!!! But you have to get over it as soon as you can and get in that speed car towards recovery for your family. Kapit guys! There’s a whole bunch of us! We can do it!"
