Polaris Esports put up a masterful performance in its 2-0 sweep of Army Geniuses to keep its record unblemished in the Division II of the DPC SEA Winter Tour on Monday, Jan. 10.

The red-hot Polaris now won five straight matches and has an inside track on one of the top two spots which would grant the all-Filipino crew a promotion to the Division I.
The Filipinos didn’t break a sweat in dispatching their Indonesian foes as Polaris cruised to a lopsided 35-23 opener to draw the series first blood. John Anthony "Natsumi-" Vargas on the Monkey King and Nikko “Force” Bilocura on the Tidehunter did most of the damage against AG finishing with 14-2-10 and 8-1-20 lines respectively.
The two dictated the tempo right off the gates as the Filipinos dominated the Indonesian on all fronts and led by as much as 22k net worth.
It was the same story in the second game as Polaris stomped AG in a one-sided fashion, 31-22. The Indonesian showed flashes of resistance mid-way through the game but the Filipinos were just on point in dissecting AG’s formation evident in the huge clash at the 33-minute mark where Polaris scored a five-man wipe which proved to be the nail in the coffin for the Filipinos.
With the win, Polaris joined Ragdoll and Nigma Galaxy SEA as the only three teams that remained unbeaten this season. Polaris can go for the tournament sweep in its crucial encounters against No. 3 Nigma Galaxy SEA (4-0) on Jan. 15 and versus Ragdoll (5-0) on Jan. 19 to assure itself a Division 1 promotion.
