Pia Wurtzbach slams netizen who says she deserves the virus

Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach hit a netizen who claimed she deserved to have COVID-19.

On Instagram, Pia said she already deleted the comment in her post, but she couldn't believe some people were happy that others were tested positive for the virus.

"I deleted it already pero may nag comment pa na I deserved this cos I travel? And that I had it coming? Kilabutan sana kayo sa mga sinasabi nyo. Iba na talaga mundo ngayon. Sana di nyo maranasan to," she wrote. (I deleted it already, but someone made a comment that I deserved the virus because I traveled and that I had it coming. Shame on what you have said. The world is really changing. I hope you don't catch the virus).

Pia was tested positive for COVID-19 in London, where she's on vacation with her family. The German-Filipino beauty queen is now recovering.

She also thanked those who prayed for her recovery.
