Navotas City Hospital staff positive for COVID-19

The Navotas City Hospital will limit its services after several hospital staff tested positive for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

“Dahil apektado po ng COVID-19 ang ilan sa ating mga kawani sa Navotas City Hall, mas malilimitahan po ang mga serbisyong maaari nitong maihandog sa ngayon (Because COVID-19 has affected some of our staff at Navotas City Hall, the services it can offer will be even more limited),” the city government announced on Sunday, Jan. 9.

The following services will be limited:

- Elective surgery or operations planned in advance.

-No normal or cesarean delivery will be accepted, maternity can be referred to Tanza Lying-in or to One Hospital Command.

-Admission is limited, and internal medicine patients will be prioritized.

It also said that laboratory and X-ray services will be limited to Emergency Room and admitted patients only.

Telemedicine is available for the outpatient department.
