The Italian luxury label celebrates the Year of the Tiger in style

In Chinese culture, the tiger is seen as a symbol of fearlessness, independence, and loyalty. It is rebellious and of high-self esteem, and with just one look at those stunning stripes, tigers command attention. These traits and the animal’s print are what Fendi’s latest offering is about as it greets the Lunar New Year and 2022 Spring Festival in style.

Embodying the courageous, vigorous, active, and enthusiastic personality of the people born in the Year of the Tiger, the Italian luxury label capsule collection the very definition of “urban jungle chic” as its contemporary pieces meet the beastly beauty of the tiger. Orange tiger print animalier motif, inspired by the Siberian tigers found in the northeastern region of China, takes center stage in the women’s collection.

A range of ready-to-wear pieces, from a t-shirt and a hooded sweatshirt to a knitted cardigan in a special black version, roar with the signature print. The same pattern is embroidered on the new Fendi Match sneakers, as well as the iconic Regular, Mini, and Nano Baguette bag in orange canvas, the Sunshine Shopper and its Mini version, and the internal lining of a black Mini Peekaboo in leather.

Echoing the spirit of the spring season, blooms such as cineraria (signifying happiness, prosperity, and peacefulness) and the lily (a symbol of beauty and nobility) are incorporated with the brand’s hallmark FF logo. The floral motif is present in a selection of silk textiles, including a bandana, a scarf, and hair accessories.

Fendi’s 2022 Spring Festival Exclusive Capsule Collection is now available on fendi.com and in select boutiques worldwide. Locally, its stores are located at Greenbelt 3 in Makati City and Solaire Manila in Parañaque City.
