Newscaster Gretchen Fullido tried to be informative updating fans of her experience having acquired the deadly coronavirus.

In her recent post, the Kapamilya star revealed her COVID-19 journey started last Jan. 3 when she tested positive for the same in both RT-PCR and antigen tests.

According to her, she immediately went into isolation and prepared all the essential supplements and medicines she needed to strengthen her immune system.

"Note that I am fully vaccinated and got my booster shot last December," she reiterated.

Gretchen said that on Day 1 to 2, she had sore throat, headache, cough, colds - runny nose, felt feverish, with joint pain and fatigue.

The following days, she felt better: No more headache, and the cough and colds lessened.

Though her voice was "hoarse," and she experienced "brain fog" and "taste & smell became faint."

"So, I just took it easy & just kept resting," she related.

On the fifth day, Gretchen shared that almost all symptoms subsided.

"Very minimal cough. Taste & smell still faint," she noted.

However, she also experienced shortness of breath.

"It was a little hard to talk on the phone & I was catching my breath but my Oximeter said my O2 levels were good. Overall, it was very manageable. I even watered my plants & did light household chores."

The next day, she was feeling "much better."

On the seventh day, she was feeling "okay."

"My antigen test came out negative too (But I will still stay in isolation for the next few days)."

She then told her followers the key to winning against COVID-19 is to "rest," "eat healthy" and "hydrate."

"Even if I no longer have symptoms and I feel ok, completing the DOH 10 day isolation and quarantine protocol is a must. Make sure to get your doctor’s clearance if you can be released and to know if you are fit to work."

Gretchen declared that she's so thankful that she's fully vaccinated and that she was able to get a booster shot too.

"VACCINES REALLY SAVE LIVES," she declared. "Please get vaccinated & get a booster shot as soon as you can so we can protect ourselves & others."
