Kiefer, Lakestars conduct fund raiser for Odette-hit areas

Kiefer Ravena and the Shiga Lakestars are taking their own share of efforts to help the typhoon-ravaged areas in the Eastern and Central Visayas.

In a post on the Lakestars Twitter page, the Filipino import invited their fans to troop to the Urakuchan Arena as they defend their homecourt against Akita on Jan 2 and 3.

The Lakestars are setting up a booth, which will be manned by Ravena, himself, to personally thank the fans who will participate in the donation drive for the victims of the Typhoon Odette in the country.

“There will be a fund-raising event for the Philippines, to all the victims of Typhoon Odette. I would like to thank my Shiga Lakestars family for putting this up. I appreciate all the effort,” said Ravena in video presentation.

“I hope to see all the Filipinos out there. Let’s all help kababayans affected by the typhoon so they can rise up back and go back to their normal lives” Ravena continued.

Donations will go directly to the UNICEF which will conduct the relief operations for the Odette-hit areas.

The Lakestars, now 9-15 in the win-loss standing, is looking to bounce back from a tough 92-67 beatdown at the hands of the Hiroshima Dragonflies
